welcome

Greetings! Welcome to the main resource for the Save Our Voice Actors campaign, a group dedicated to saving the original voice actors on Pokémon. After eight long years working with the Pokémon series, our talented and committed voice actors have been replaced. Not only were these voice actors very participant with their fans and the fandom itself, they were hardworking contributors to the show’s production team and writing staff. SOVA is determined to get our voice actors back so we can hear the characters the way they are supposed to sound.

Please take a look around to learn about SOVA, see what you can do to help, and learn about the people who breathed life into their characters.

07 Jul 2008 // Project Poke Balls!
We have a major project going on now called the Project Poke Balls. What you do is buy either little foam balls or ping pong balls (foam balls work best though) and paint them like a Poke Ball along with a short message on them (such as Save Our Voice Actors or Ash=Veronica). You then mail them to DuArt and Pokemon USA. The addresses to Pokemon USA and DuArt can be found here. This is the most active project right now so we hope that anyone willing and able will contribute what they can to this project!!

04 Jul 2008 // We need an update!!
Hey everyone!! Sorry for the big delay in updates but a lot has been going on with SOVA lately. First of all we have two new leaders! First off is Nekusagi and the other is me, Brian. Anyway, SOVA is anything but dead so as we get more updates we'll update you on this site. In fact I could give a few more updates now but I'm too tired to do so at the moment. So, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to email the staff at saveourvoiceactors@gmail.com! Thanks!!

09 Sep 2007 // Spread the word!
According to Pokemon Elite 2000, Toys "R" Us will be giving away a Manaphy for the Diamond and Pearl games, much like their Mew give away last year. This event will be held at your local Toys "R" Us store on September 29 from 12 - 3pm. More information can be found at the official Toys "R" Us site.

This is a perfect opportunity to continue spreading the word about SOVA and what fellow Pokemon fans can do. Either by printing out flyers, sharing SOVA's website URL, or talking to fans about how they feel regarding the new voice actors, you can make a difference!

25 Jun 2007 // Spam
Hello all! Frequent visitors will notice that there has been a mass amount of spam attacking the comment script daily. I've installed a "hack" (if you will) that is called Captcha -- It will hopefully stop those evil spam bots. I know it's a bit of an inconvenience to comment now (as you will need to type in 5-6 letters/digits every time to verify you are not a bot), but in the end it's worth it!

Additionally, I have disabled commenting on some older updates, just to keep things a little cleaner. ;D

We'll keep you posted within the next week on a new project. It's very big and we hope that everyone can pull through on this -- We must get our voice actors back!!

03 Jun 2007 // Pokémon Marathon
We hope you are enjoying the glorious marathon on Cartoon Network (as we speak, in fact!). It is greatly urged that you do not watch the last 2.5 hours of the marathon as it consists of Battle Frontier. Show support for SOVA by changing the channel! A very simple and very powerful way to get our message across. Also, after the marathon, it is planned to make many calls to Cartoon Network on their viewer response line. Make sure you mention how you enjoyed the marathon, but did not watch the last 2.5 hours because of Battle Frontier. Information on phone calls in located here.
