To Whom It May Concern: I have been watching Pokémon for eight years and only recently stopped when the show began airing on Cartoon Network. I stopped watching the anime because of the voice actor change. After Pokémon USA, the handler of Pokémon merchandise in America, brought the anime into a new studio, TAJ Productions, the original voice actors were lost. These voice actors include: Veronica Taylor, the voice actress of Ash and May; Eric Stuart, the voice actor of Brock and James; Rachael Lillis, the voice actress of Jessie; Maddie Blaustien, the voice actress of Meowth; and, Amy Birnbaum, the voice actress of Max. They all have been replaced by imitators, who, admittedly, bring down the quality of the show and have sent a hurricane of controversy into the Pokémon fandom. Because of this, many fans are not watching the new episodes that have, and will, air on your network. I assure you I do not put any blame on your network for the decreasing quality of Pokémon – I just feel that because you are now airing the show it is important for you to know why certain viewers have not tuned in to watch their beloved series. I did not watch the entire 9th season of Battle Frontier. I did not watch the movie, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. I do not plan to watch the 10th season, Diamond & Pearl, or any reruns of the 9th movie or season. I will, however, watch ALL reruns of Advanced Battle and the eight previous Pokémon movies, which might air on your network. I will watch these because of the original voice actors; I will not watch the previously mentioned because of the new voice actors. Pokémon USA has heard our feedback and has expressed interest and concern for what we feel the Pokémon anime is suffering now. As the network that airs Pokémon we feel it is of great importance to let Pokémon USA know that there’s a large majority of the fans who are not going to watch the show anymore strictly due to the voice actor change. Again, I have been a faithful viewer of the Pokémon anime for eight years. But since the new episodes with the new voice actors began airing on Cartoon Network, I have stopped. Thank you so much for your time,
