Cartoon Network 1050 Techwood Drive Atlanta, GA 30318 Dear sir or madam, I have been a fan of the “Pokémon” cartoon series since its first airing in 1998. For the longest time, I have watched the show, enjoying especially the exceptional care that was taken into its production’s quality. In comparison with the other cartoons airing at the same time, “Pokémon” stood out as a testament to the hard work and care of its English writers. However, as of late, I am upset. With the replacement of the familiar, talented voice actors since the beginning of season 9, “Battle Frontier,” this usually-high quality has drastically plummeted. The new voices do not capture the same moods and humor that the originals did, and this fact turns me sadly away from watching. I also did not watch the newest movie when it aired on your network for just this reason, believing that the quality was not good enough for me to invest my time in seeing it. I know that the new “Diamond/Pearl” seasons will begin soon, and I am eager to see what happens to the show then, but the thought of hearing such low-quality voices in it hinders me from wanting to watch. Without the original voices to guide me through the season, the show has become something unfamiliar, both disturbing and alienating a once-loyal viewer like me. Therefore, I request that measures be taken to regain the original voice actors as soon as possible. If this is done, the company shall certainly profit. With the quality talent of the original voices, the show’s ratings will increase, as will sales on future DVD releases. Respectfully,
