April 4, 2006 Pokemon USA, Inc. 1177 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10036 Dear Pokemon USA: With 25 days left until the airing of the pilot episode, I would like to convey further concerns regarding your possible decision to change voice actors. Quite honestly, I, like many other fans, am disappointed to think that you would consider doing this to save money. Nintendo, to me, has always meant quality, and to break this tradition of quality in the name of a cheaper-produced product bothers me, not only because it disappoints the fans, but leaves a poor impression upon the company for years to come. As I’ve mentioned previously, after eight years, most of us fans have developed an emotional attachment to the characters on Pokemon. Since without their voice, a cartoon character is nothing more than frames of animation, it would be more accurate to say that we have developed an emotional attachment to the actors who bring the characters to life, and I think it is safe to assume that the actors feel likewise. Make the right decision. Keep the original cast. I can only hope that you don’t disappoint us. Yours truly, Dawn Maier
